After a long time, unexpectedly, I fall in love with Simon. He is really beauty and handsome. Really, handsome with adequate height, big belly, long feet, shining eyes, bit short mustache and short smile, hee…hee... Really, I must fell in love and I love him. I was familiar with him since April 2011 because it was one of the funny questions during workshop. I answered because I loved him. Thanks god! I was with him. Earlier, I asked with Sarah with some hesitation because I scared with her.
Dec 15, 2011, early in the morning about 4am, I was awake up due to noise of Simon. I kept door open because my PAPA is quite unfamiliar with sophisticated housing style and shifting from hotel to apartment in my friend. Sarah is working in UN, so she has apartment which is really more decorated and fancy than five star hotel in Bangkok. Dad keep on asking many questions regards to house, development, Nepali politics, leaders and all.
Simon was keep on shouting, I turned side, he came this side, near my ear and vice versa. I massage him in his back, chat him; talked about Sarah, kissed him, hug him. I did whatever I knew and can. I really try to perform well as his beloved one. I mean trying to be replace her in a way and another. Unfortunately, he didn't stop, keep on crying with tiny and centi mode. I felt very bad because I failed. Totally failed. I remember the Bangkok, the apartments, busy people and their busy schedule. Is it the best to be away from development where beloved one can live together in very natural way. Anyway, I become crazy.
Immediately, I stood u and run to kitchen, searched in drawers, cupboard, refrigerators and everywhere. I didn't see what I saw before. I didn't know where it was; neither finish nor house made dispose it.
Simon also followed me wherever I was. He also loved me as original or natural way. Thank god, world exist due and for LOVE, everywhere. Because of language barrier, I can't understand well always what Sarah's saying, either Simon or the Thai language. Hee… heee. Finally, I saw seven letter in very small writings. It was written `PET FOOD'.

Today, Dec 7, 2011, we, campaign members; WOREC, BDS, AWON, OUTLINE had been in traffic police. From the perpetrator side, two members from bus association and conductor were there. In the beginning conductor didn't accept, he just said that I touched her only. Later, conductor accepted and ask for excuse and also promised for not repeating the case ever. About 1 pm, we all agreed to make consensus as he ask for amnesty. Driver, bus association member Gautam Adhikari also signed as witnessed. Meanwhile, colleagues discussed about the roles and responsibilities and code of conduct on public transport as well. It is a representative case only but there are few things I noticed which has to addressed;
1. The traffic police also don't aware on code of conduct on public transport 2067
2. No knowledge on dealing of such cases, they asked to share the case in the common room publicly, room # 10-l asked separate room later. No confidentiality, many police and non-police man coming and listening the case. I continuously ask for being out from room.
3. No women police for dealing such case In conclusion, sexual harassment is very much common but ignored by all stakeholders.
This can be minimized drastically if the concerned stakeholders have willingness to implement. It is not easy to complaint by time, knowledge, security and process. It is really tough to complain to those who have access and knowledge.
Can you imagine what is happening with women and gilrs in public transport? How long should we go to make GBV free public transport in NEPAL?
At last but not least, thank you to my campgain collegues, DIGP and his team for their kind coperation.
Sorry for taking your time.
Regards, radha

A Sexual Harassment in Publict Transport case reported to Traffice Police
Today, my schdeule is so occupied. I want to focus entirely with my ,Miteri gaun-Let-live Together Campgain. Therefore, Laxman is in NDWA, Samjhna is in National Women Comission.
The meeting with Bhanu Memorial school has been postponed since last 2 weeks due to my sickness as well as busy schedule for 16 days VAW activism and campgain for peace ad constituion.
For going directly, I took Nepal Yatayat from Tinkune alongwith Samjhna. Samjhna paid rent for two of us when she get off at Bijulibazar. She shouted from outside,` radhadidi, I paid money of yours as well, I said ok'. The conversation looks like talking in forest while collecting fooders. Some of passenger smile as well.
About 10 pm, I get down at Balauwatar at PM's quarter #3 to go Bhanu memorial. I said,my friend had already paid at Bijulibazar. Immediately he seemed silent. While I stepped out 4-5 steps, one voice `oh didi, oh didi' i heard.I just back and asked, are you calling me? He shouted yes, why do you run away without paying. I tried to convience him, but keep on shouting, verbally abused by using vulgar words and attacked me; at my shoulder. I said again, my friend paid already. He ready to call my friend and asked for phone number. I gave phone no. He insist to speak with her. I said, you don't trust me so you speak why should I? He dialed phone, connected with her but keep on force to speak. I do not. Meanwhile, the bus back 2-3 steps and support to conductor.
I really felt so bad though think to back bus to ask with witnesser. Most of the passenger has already get off because that is so long route. Only two women are there who are going to Teaching hospital. They are shouting from inside, it is paid already in Bijulibazar. Then again, I asked them, they say yes.
Then I moved to Bhanu memorial school. On the way I talked over phone with two drivers; khila shrestha and khadka who were introduced during my research` understanding mascuilinities in public transport'.
When the meeting over, I determined that I should go to police and report about it. I always encountered and witnessed sexual harassment but no one taking care of.
I directly go to traffice office in Ramshah path, Kathmandu. Met DIGP, Ganesh Rai and also ask paper and submit the application or FIR for justice.
Later, around 4 pm, I received phone call from traffice and Khila driver. That time, I was in meeting in UNFPA office, I said that I couldn't join.
I do not know, ow it goes tomorrow.
