कोभिड् १९ महामारीको लामो समय पछी स्कुल खोलेको थियो | कोभिड पुर्ब मेरा नातिनीहरू र उनीहरु जस्ता बालबालिकाहरुलाई मोबाइल वा ल्यापटप छुन पाउनु पनि हम्मे हम्मे थियो चाहे उनीहरु जस्तो सुकै आर्थिक अबस्था भएको होस् | कतिको घरमा ल्यापटप हुदैनथ्यो | कतिको घरमा केटाकेटीहरुका नाममा किनिदिए पनि ल्यापटप चलाएर बिग्रने पो हुन् कि , नराम्रो कुरा पो सिक्ने हुन् भन्ने भय थियो | कतिको घरमा भए पनि आमा वाको कार्यालयको काम हुन्थ्यो | कार्यालयको ल्यापटप चलाउने कुरा पनि हुदैनथ्यो | हैन, बन्देज थियो | कार्यालयको कुनै पनि सामग्री निधारित व्यक्ति बाहेक अरुहरुले चलाउनु एक प्रकारको भ्रष्टाचार मानिन्थ्यो |

Gender Transformative Education

This is email I received as a participants for gender transformative education workshop from Brooklyn, USA. Jennifer suggested to watch the two videos with copying her friends. I watched the videos and I have feeling that we have done same thing for new results. Therefore, I dared to write them and indirectly encourage them to change the thought on gender transformative education. It's nice to share here but important to document for future regards to attempt to influence academia particularly in global north. If they would ready for change, change take places in many places.

Climate Justice: Centered the ‘Menstruators’

 

Now, who doesn’t know about the climate change? It is a long term shifts in temperature and weather patterns that occurs naturally or through human made activities that is manifested as floods, storms, heat waves, fires, droughts, hunger or malnutrition in our daily lives. And there were remarkable agreements on issues and actions at global level. However, while assessing the issues and solutions, are the vulnerable communities considered or not? Scholars, activists, donors are claimed and have showed that they have coalition for climate justice where the sexual and reproductive health or gender equality or peace appealed to address. Others who are working directly around climate justice may claim that they are addressing the gender issues, working for last mile population, or marginalized communities for adapting climate impacts. Who are the marginalized within the marginalized? How do the global community reach out to them? Are they really reaching out to them? How long do they preach the marginalized communities and what is the impact of it? Is the notion of inclusion adequately addressed across the activities of climate justice?
