These are the pictures from Godavari Municipality of Lalitpur district. Regardless of their caste, class, and education, they have been practicing various forms of menstrual restrictions; no participation in any religious activities, not allow to cook or enter in to kitchen, not allow to touch source of water supply, separate bed, hiding others or own's dark room without exposure with male members of the family (first menstruation), washing and drying of menstrual clothes separately, not allow to have citrus foods/fruits, no talk about menstruation at home, or family members, silence towards menstruation, matter of shyness and sexuality, not a serious issue to discuss at school, at local government. They also do not know about the menstruation itself. Had discussed about physiology of menstruation, products including their pros and cones, constitutional rights.
